She graduated from the University of Stefan Wyszyński in Warsaw in psychology in 1995. She specialized in couple and family therapy at Oakland University at Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA (2007). She was recommended by the Polish Society of Therapy EMDR – a branch of therapy focused on dealing with trauma and difficult experience.


Malgorzata Laskowska gained her experience working as a science assistant at Wayne State University and the University of Michigan, USA, where she resided from 2005 to 2012. She worked as a licensed psychologist in a private clinic “Change is possible” at Michigan, as well as in The Primary Care Clinic “Catholic Services of Macomb”, where she provided individual, couple and family therapy. She also offered psychological help for emigrants in their adaptation in the “Harmony and Balance” Center at Metro Medical Center in Troy, MI, USA. She supervised her individual and group work. She completed a basic training in EMDR Therapy organized by EMDR Europe, and received Therapist Certificate, awarded by Europe Accredited Trainer Dr. Derek Farell, Cpsychol, PhD.
